Tesco shows Cubs how to eat healthily By admin on March 27, 2015 (updated May 27, 2018) In Flintshire, News / 0 comments Tesco are inviting Beavers and Cubs to spend some time in one of Tesco’s stores for a Farm to Fork Trail, to gain hands on experience to learn all about where their food comes from Beavers and Cubs get to see behind the scenes of a Tesco bakery, taste some different types of cheese and learn how to gut a fish. There are also fun and engaging activities to support Beavers and Cubs on their Farm to Fork food discovery journey. 1st Bistre Cubs are amongst lots of local groups to have visited their local Tesco. Leader Tamsin Royle said, “We sampled bread ingredients, sampled some cheese, touched some fish, froze in the freezer and found some fruit from around the world.” At the end they managed to invest 5 new members, Harriet Hopwood, Lucas Jones, Evan Smith, Joshua Round and James Webb on the escalator!
