As we’re no longer holding our Area Camp at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, the Bangoree name doesn’t make much sense!

So we need a new name for Clwyd’s Area Camp. One which isn’t venue dependant and which can be used for future Area Camps that we put on.

We asked you for ideas for names and we were overwhelmed by the response! 66 ideas were suggested and these were whittled down to 12 by our Youth Leads Team.

Now we need as many youth members as possible – that’s Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network – to vote for their favourite from the shortlist.

Please can parents/carers and leaders ask their young people which they prefer and vote on the form on this page. Young people can also vote directly themselves if they are able to.

We want this to be the decision of young people – so please can parents/carers and leaders not influence their decisions!

The vote will stay open until May 31st and we’ll announce the winner in early June.
