We’re celebrating how awesome our young people and volunteers are.

We know how amazing the young people and volunteers in Clwyd are and we want to recognise that! Being held in January 2024, we’re bringing together the four districts that make up Clwyd Scouts for a night of celebration, recognition and awards.

Nominations will open on Friday 1st September 2023 and close on Friday 27th October at 9pm.

During the evening there will also be presentations from recipients of the New Horizons Fund as well as from one of our newly formed Squirrels groups. There will be live music and some VIP guests! We’ll also be remembering those we have lost from our Scouting Family this year.

Photo of the Year 📸

Calling all budding photographers! As part of the awards ceremony, we’ve launched a photography competition. There will be two awards presented, one to a young person and one to an adult volunteer.

This year’s theme is hometown pride. We want your photos to demonstrate everything that makes where you’re from totally awesome – whether that be the town in which you live or scout in, or the wider area. What makes Clwyd so great to live in?

We would also like to display your scouting photos from the year throughout the evening, you can submit them below too.
