3rd Prestatyn Scouts invited scouts from 1st Rhyl to join them in visiting the Prestatyn Council Chambers as part of their Scouts Wales Democracy Challenge Badge. They were met by local politicians, Llyr Gruffydd Assembly Member for North Wales, Linda Maraca Town Councillor, David Turner Ex. Mayor who represented various levels of government and Ceri Morgan who represented the Assemblys’ visitors team, all who encouraged them to engage in a lively debate on whether the voting age should be lowered to 16. Their views were then taken to the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff to be included in the national survey.
