🏅 We’re immensely proud to announce that Dan Reynolds and Andy Blundell from Mynydd Isa Scout Group have been awarded the Commissioner’s Commendation by Area Lead Volunteer, Kevin Field. This recognition comes after their courageous involvement in a road traffic incident, demonstrating the life-saving impact of first aid knowledge.

🚗 While travelling in their Scout Minibus, they encountered a severe car accident. With quick thinking, they used their first aid training to manage the scene, provide essential care to the injured, and coordinate with emergency services until professional help arrived.

💡 This incident underscores the importance of first aid training. Even basic skills can make a monumental difference in emergencies, potentially saving lives and providing crucial assistance in critical moments.
