We’re super excited to announce that we’re planning an Area camp for 2025 and you’re invited! We’ll be taking over Park in the Past from Friday 11th July until Sunday 13th July 2025. There will be a range of activities for all sections.
Whilst we are still in the planning stages, we’ll be updating this page with all of the latest updates and developments!
Want to help us make Camp Clwyd the most epic weekend possible? We’d love to have you on board to help – whether it’s something small like helping to run an activity, making sure our risk assessments are in check or helping with the bog squad or whether you want to take a leading role with our planning team, everyone is welcome!

What to expect!
We’re splitting everything up into three key zones. There will be a range of activities on offer within each zone aimed at each section. Below is just an idea of what to expect in each zone – like we said, we’re still in the early planning phases. We’ll be adding more information and details as time goes on!

FAQs
Who needs to book onto the system?
Anyone who is planning on attending over the weekend – even if just for a few hours. If you’ve not booked on, you’re not coming on site.
When can we get onto the site?
We will have access to the site from 9am on the Friday morning. If you would like to bring any kit during the day, please contact campclwyd@clwydscouts.org.uk to arrange.
What is the arrival and departure times?
These are still to be confirmed. Once we have final numbers we will arrange staggered drop off and collection times to ease congestion. Drop off times will most likely be between 4:30pm and 6pm and collection times on the Sunday will be from 2pm onwards.
We have day participants coming on the Saturday, what time should they arrive?
They will be expected to arrive on site between 9am and 9:30am. We are still confirming departure times and will share these when we can.
Is there electric hookup access?
There will be NO electricity available for groups to use whilst on site.
What’s the deal with food?
This is a self catered event. Groups will need to cater for themselves. Please note no BBQs or open fires are allowed.
