Flintshire District is made up of 14 Scout Groups, 8 Explorer Scout Units and a Scout Network, with 848 young people and 473 adult volunteer.
All Groups have Group Lead Volunteers, and there are Team Leaders in place for the 14-24 and Volunteering Development Teams, the Programme Team has no overall Team Leader but there are sub-Team Leaders for each Section, and while the Support Team also has no Team Leader all of the functions which it is responsible for are well looked after.
In short, as District Lead Volunteer(s)* you’d be the Team Leader of a well established and well functioning District Leadership Team. All they need is someone to support them and lead the District’s development.
