Montgomeryshire District is made up of 7 Scout Groups, 4 Explorer Scout Units and a Scout Network, with 200 young people and 130 adult volunteers.
All Groups have Group Lead Volunteers, and there are Team Leaders in place for the 14-24 and Volunteering Development Teams. There is a fully constituted District Trustee Board.
The main challenge for you as District Lead Volunteer(s)* is to support growth – both in terms of youth members and volunteers. The District is about half the size we were before COVID so we know we can offer excellent opportunities to more young people than we are presently.
