Flintshire Scouts offers young people across Flintshire the chance to embark on adventures, learn new skills, and make lasting friendships. Our diverse program includes outdoor activities, community projects, and personal development opportunities, guided by a dedicated team of volunteers. Join us to start your adventure!
Flintshire Scouts is a dynamic community that spans across Bistre, Broughton, Connah’s Quay, Flint, Hawarden, Kinnerton, Mynydd Isa, and Northop Hall, among others. Flintshire Scouts also host Gladstone campsite, a hub of adventure, where Scouts learn, grow, and explore.
Gladstone Campsite
The Gladstone Centre is owned by Flintshire District Scout Council and operated by the Gladstone Centre Management Committee. The Committee comprises of volunteer Scouters who administer, build and grow the facilities at the Gladstone Centre. 1st Hawarden Scout Group hold a licence from the Gladstone Estate to use the Campsite and Woodland areas around the Gladstone Centre buildings on a regular basis. Scouters from 1st Hawarden Group and other Flintshire District Scouters also make up the Service Crew to help repair, improve and maintain the facilities at Gladstone.
The Centre and campsite are set in Hawarden, North Wales. Gladstone Centre is open to all Scouting, Guiding and Youth groups year-round and hosts private events on a limited basis.
